Please read these Terms of Use carefully before using Unbusted. By downloading or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. Nature of the App
Unbusted is a focus and accountability aid designed to help students stay on task during study sessions. It is not a surveillance tool, a medical device, a diagnostic tool, or a form of medical advice or treatment. Unbusted does not guarantee any particular academic outcome or improvement in performance. Results vary by individual and circumstance.
2. Parental Responsibility
Unbusted is intended to be set up and supervised by a parent or legal guardian. If you are setting up Unbusted for use by a minor, you represent that you are that minor's parent or legal guardian and that you accept these Terms on their behalf.
Parents and guardians are responsible for: (a) ensuring the app is used appropriately and with the minor's knowledge and consent; (b) configuring the app's settings; and (c) supervising the minor's use of the app. PlanetaryPixels, LLC is not responsible for how the app is used in a family's household.
3. License
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, PlanetaryPixels, LLC grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use Unbusted on Apple devices you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes.
You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or create derivative works based on Unbusted, except to the extent permitted by applicable law.
4. In-App Purchases and Billing
Unbusted offers a free trial period. After the trial, continued use of certain features requires purchasing "Lifetime Access," a one-time in-app purchase available through the Apple App Store.
All purchases are processed by Apple. PlanetaryPixels, LLC does not collect or store your payment information. Billing, refund eligibility, and dispute resolution for in-app purchases are governed by Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions and Apple's applicable refund policies. To request a refund, use Apple's standard refund process.
To restore a previously purchased Lifetime Access on a new device or after reinstalling the app, use the Restore Purchase option within the app's PIN-protected purchase area. You must be signed in to the same Apple ID that was used for the original purchase.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use Unbusted for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the app or its underlying systems
- Reverse-engineer or attempt to extract source code from the app
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or availability of the app
- Use the app to monitor individuals without their knowledge where prohibited by law
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation in connection with the app
6. Availability and Changes
We aim to keep Unbusted available and working well. However, we may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue the app or any feature at any time without prior notice. We are not liable for any interruption in availability.
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. We will update the effective date at the top of this page when we do. Continued use of the app after an update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
7. Warranty Disclaimer
UNBUSTED IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. PLANETARYPIXELS, LLC DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
USE OF UNBUSTED IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK. NO ADVICE OR INFORMATION OBTAINED FROM PLANETARYPIXELS, LLC OR THROUGH THE APP CREATES ANY WARRANTY NOT EXPRESSLY STATED IN THESE TERMS.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, PLANETARYPIXELS, LLC AND ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR LOSS OF GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE UNBUSTED, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID, IF ANY, FOR UNBUSTED IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
9. Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement
In addition to these Terms, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to your use of Unbusted. You can review that agreement here:

In the event of a conflict between Apple's EULA and these Terms, Apple's EULA governs to the extent of the conflict with respect to matters covered by that agreement. Apple is not a party to any agreement between you and PlanetaryPixels, LLC, and Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance or support services with respect to Unbusted.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the app shall be resolved in accordance with applicable law.
